In 1990, Mr. Krause first began inspecting houses as a spin-off business from his construction company. Today, Mr. Krause specializes in inspecting and evaluating homes, septic systems, wood destroying insects, water analysis, and radon testing.

Mr. Krause is a registered CRI (Certified Real Estate Inspector) with ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors)

Each home inspection exceeds ASHI standards.

Krause Home Inspection Service, Inc. will inform you of the condition of the home at the time of the inspection to aid you in making a well-informed decision prior to your purchase.

Krause Home Inspection Service, Inc. will conduct a thorough non-evasive inspection of the visible components of the home with a report that reflects the condition of the property on the day of the inspection. We highly encourage your attendance at the inspection. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions or voice concerns about the home.

You’ll receive a comprehensive computer generated report the following day after the inspection.

If you cannot attend the inspection,  we will be glad to e-mail, fax, or mail the report to your desired location. You are always welcome to contact me if you have any questions about the report or the house whether or not you attend the inspection. We extend this service long after your inspection is complete and as long as you own your home.

Below is a list of what we inspect. If you have a special need or concern, please mention it to the inspector so that it can be addressed. Roof coverings are inspected using binoculars. I will walk on low roofs only when there is no chance of causing damage to the shingles.
